Does anyone else have this strange preference for physical copies of books and games? I am a huge fan of the Phoenix Wright series and when I found out that it was only available on the eShop, my heart broke a little. Now I'm happy that Phoenix Wright is getting a sequel at all, however, I get much more excited holding and unwrapping a physical copy of a brand new game. I even like that brand new game smell (weird).
I like collecting them and keeping everything on my book shelves while having people staring strangely at admiring my collection that has been accumulating since I was a kid. I enjoy sharing my beloved games with my friends, as well as not losing all my games when my system breaks. So buying a copy of the game that I will never get to hold, and noone will get to admire on my bookshelves makes me a little sad. Unfortunately, I cannot read Japanese (yet) so I cannot buy the physical Japanese copy of Phoenix Wright - Dual Destinies. In the end, I gave up and am currently buying the eShop version. Farewell my traditional likes and interests.
I shall be reviewing this game when I'm done playing it, as well as some other games I am currently playing - Zelda: Link Between Worlds, Animal Crossing New Leaf, Hakuoki: Memories of the Shinsengumi? I tend to play older games, but there are a lot of newer games that I enjoy as well. I tend to like Nintendo games, otome games (hehehe), mystery-ish games (like Hotel Dusk, Professor Layton, Persona 4) and visual novel type games which are heavily text based (think the Zero Escape series, Hakuoki). I also enjoyed the Assassin's Creed and Devil May Cry series.
So I'll play pretty much anything. I also watch a lot of movies, tv shows and anime, so I can post stuff about that as well. Well I'm off to play Dual Destinies! Farewell friends and hopefully, I'll remember to post again soon.
